Charbel Khalil have to look for a new career. The director of the ‘insults departement’ at Orange TV perhaps? It’s not funny anymore and he really needs to start watching what he’s doing, we’re for freedom of speech and all but it’s getting out of hand and the show can’t survive with Khalils policies. I mean at least let the dead rest in peace and focus some more on entertaining people, isn’t this what a comedy show should be about? Or the closer we get to an election, the more the show becomes a tool to attack whoever doesn’t believe in Mr Khalils political stand? Like there aren’t enough out there :) I like the timing, start with the popular campaign of conjugating the verb “reje3′, move on to remind people how big of a criminal Samir Geagea is by blaming him for the death of the Franjiyeh family (30+ years ago) and now this for people who try to stay away from all the propaganda but hey what are they thinking? Charbel and his team are not people you can easily avoid and they will get to you somehow somewhere so don’t try to run away or they will be forced to use some more of their Divine money.
The video posted below is to remind people of the successful episode back in June 06 which almost led to street battles or wait, it did… It is also to compare the reactions of those who felt targeted back then and those of today. It is not to point fingers and say Hezbollahs supporters are gangs meanwhile Hariris are the educated, civilised ones, Mr Hariri, does have what the orange media like to call FM militia, they do exist, we seen them in Tripolie, Bekaa and a small sample in Beirut, not saying they are supported and armed by the future movement but they’re out there… back to the comparison, why do we see Hezbollah taking the street when ever they or their weapons are targeted meanwhile Hariris supporters stay calm and refrain from reacting?

After the liberation in 2000, Hezbollah kept it’s arms claiming that it still has a major role to play to free occupied land. In July 06, Hezbollah kidnapped 2 Israeli soldiers in order to strengthen it’s position in any future prisoners swap with Israel.
“The United States believes the time has come to deal with the Shebaa Farms issue,” Ms. Rice told reporters in Beirut yesterday after meeting Mr. Siniora. Washington intends to press Secretary-General Ban to “lend his good offices” to resolve the dispute, she said, according to AFP. “The secretary-general should intensify his efforts.” source
A prisoner swap between Israel and Hezbollah is imminent, a Lebanese official said on Wednesday, with the Shiite group set to hand over two captured Israeli soldiers in exchange for several militants. source
What is going to be the role of the Islamic resistance ‘Hezbollah’ after the liberation of Sheba farms and the return of Lebanese prisoners? The Shebaa farms are most likely to be dealt with in diplomatic standards, keeping in mind the reason behind the delays in getting back the farms has always been Syria’s refusal to issue a statement or an official map claiming that Shebaa farms belongs to Lebanon. Syria refused in many occasions and decided to keep the farms as an additional card to use against Israel in any negotiations or peace-talk and it seems like they have used it, surprisingly, few weeks after the secret, later made public ‘peace-talk’ between Israel and Syria, Condi issues a statement in support of freeing the farms.
Israel and Syria have completed two days of indirect peace talks in Turkey, with Israeli and Turkish officials hailing them as a success. source
The question remains, what is being cooked for Hezbollah?
July war 2006.
Hezbollah clashes with the Lebanese army.
Sayyed Hassan “use the weapons to protect the weapons” and Hezbollah uses it’s arms against Lebanese.
Shebaa farms to be liberated.
Prisoners swap.
Israil-Syria peace-talk.
Pre-elections propaganda at its best.
As soon as Bass Met Watan episode on LBC ended last night, LBC switchboard in Adma north of Beirut was overwhelmed with phone calls condemning the network for allowing such a biased program against the Hariri foundation.
Director Charbel Khalil described the 40 000 alumnis of the Hariri foundation as “slaves that are implementing the orders of their master” . He based his conclusion on the proverb that says : “He who teaches you one letter , you should forever be his slave”
Hariri who spent over $1 billion on 40, 000 Lebanese of all religions and origins, he sent to some of the best universities in the world is usually remembered as the one who taught , built and liberated the country. This is why the calls to LBC were mostly made by the top professionals of the country…doctors, engineers, lawyers ..etc who felt insulted by the program which called them “slaves”.

The four sovereign ministries are to be divided on the Sunnites represented by the Future movement, the Shites represented by Amal and Hezbollah and the remaining two go to the president. Aoun needs to realise that 4/3 does not equal two meaning the opposition can’t get two sovereign ministries, leaving the majority with none or leaving the president, the country’s highest Christian officeholder with no sovereign seats unless Berri is willing to give up on Foreign Affairs to the favor of Michel Aoun which is asking for the impossible from Berri.
According to Aoun’s logic, the president needs to get his share of seats equally from a Muslim minister and a Christian one which leaves a free seat for Aoun to place who ever he wants in and use it for his benefit in the 2009 elections… but again this is more then impossible and Aoun needs to try again because leaving Hariri and Berri with one ministry to fight over isn’t going to work out either.
Are the supporters of Michel Aoun pleased with the Doha agreement which caused their General to lose the presidency to Michel Sleiman after a three years battle and a major change in principals among the ranks of Aounists? The Michel Aoun 2005 political tsunami was downgraded to a titanic with no captain and a bunch of people trying to escape. A funny clip describing the mixed up feelings Aounists are having after the presidential elections.

Johnny Abdo said during an interview with May Chidiac on Tuesday, June 10 that there was Syrian officers were fighting in the ranks of Fath el Islam against the Lebanese army in Nahr el bared camp. The escape of these officers and the disappearance of Shaker el Absi is indirectly related to the weapons Syria supplied the Lebanese army with during the battles.
Statements were issued in response to some of what Abdo had to say during the interview but the information raised above was totally ignored.
Who is responsible for the armed clashes that are taking place in different areas of Lebanon from the North to the South after the Doha agreement?
The future movement released a statement with the following:
On Saturday, June 7 [2008], four cars carrying 12 armed men reached Taalabaya and tried to arrest members of the Muhieddine and Qumra families,”
Hezbollah had their own version of the story and released a statement that reads:
“Hussein Dandash was beaten on Sunday, June 8, 2008, by 10 members of the Future militia in Taalabaya. When he defended himself, the attackers fled … then returned to attack residents of the neighborhood, and the residents returned the attack to defend themselves. The army and ISF then intervened and dispersed across the area for about an hour before withdrawing,”
Last week, Hariri suspended the Future Movement calls in regards of forming the cabinet as a protest against the latest armed conflicts taking place in Beirut, in return Hezbollah and Amal movement released a statement stating that they will not cover any individuals taking part in any of the conflicts.
